I chopped up a red bell pepper , red onion, and a little garlic for colorful garnish and to add a little crunch. I also added a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to my personal bowl and teammed the beans up with a piece of hot water cornbread......OMGoodness!!!!!!! I am looking forward to the leftovers.

Growing up, this was my favorite meal of all time. My Nannie and Papa, who were from Arkansas, had me over for this dish several times a week. She made white cornbread to go with it, and it was the best! This recipes takes me back, thanks for sharing!!
