How to make it

  • i put the 4 into my potato bag and microwave them for 7 to 8 minutes, depends on the size of the taters.
  • I do not like to boil items, because I feel it takes some of the flavor away!
  • Then I take them and put them into a bowl, yes I leave the peels on, they will pull right off if you do not like them, and I mash them with my OLD potato masher, I like the lumps, you could use a mixer, but why!!!
  • Then I add REAL BUTTER and keep on mashing, then some milk to thin them out, keep on mashing....
  • Be careful if you are using and electric mixer, if you over mix them they will turn into a glue like substance.
  • (When potatoes are mashed, starch is released. The more you work the potatoes, the more starch gets released. When too much starch gets released, the potatoes become gummy, gluey, and unappetizing.)
  • You then just serve these mashers up with a great gravy!
  • Instead of gravy add some easy melting cheese to the potatoes and mix it up!h salt
  • Some people and pearl onions or peas to these, I do not!
