Bearspaw Waffles

- 8 oz (225 g) strong plain flour shopping list
- 1 level teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 level tablespoon bread maker yeast shopping list
- 1 level tablespoon Splenda brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 pint (275 ml) half-and-half cream shopping list
- 2 fl oz (55ml) water shopping list
- 2 tablepoons butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl mix together the cream, water, salt, and 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Warm in microwave (scant thirty seconds)
- Sprinkle yeast on top and let “proof” for ten minutes. It should be bubbly.
- Beat in the flour the liquid, cover the bowl with a tea towel, and let rest for forty-five minutes.
- You should have a happy, bubbling batter.
- Melt the butter in the microwave in a small glass bowl (30 seconds)
- Mix together the second amount of brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Heat the George Foreman, and brush with melted butter.
- Pour a half cup batter at a time, sprinkle with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon, and close.
- I timed each waffle at one minute, forty-five seconds.
- Brush wiith melted butter between each waffle.
- Repeat until batter is gone.
- Enjoy.
