Microwave Bread Butter

- 4 c. of lightly packed bread, cut in cubes (about 4 or 5 slices of bread) shopping list
- 2 c.of milk (not skim) shopping list
- 1/4 c. of butter or margarine shopping list
- 2 lbeaten large eggs shopping list
- 1/2 c. of packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. of salt shopping list
- 1/2 c. of raisins shopping list
How to make it
- First spread bread cubes evenly in an 8-inch round glass pan.
- Then sprinkle with the sugar, salt, and raisins.
- Next you place milk in a 4-cup glass measuring cup and add the butter.
- Now microwave on High for four minutes, until butter melts and milk is warm.
- Then you will rapidly, stir in the eggs with a whisk and combine well.
- Now pour over bread.
- Then you microwave on Medium-High for approx. 9 to 12 minutes.
- When cooked, the center may still be slightly soft, but does set up as pudding cools.
- Now you can serve warm or chilled; your preference
