How to make it

  • First spread bread cubes evenly in an 8-inch round glass pan.
  • Then sprinkle with the sugar, salt, and raisins.
  • Next you place milk in a 4-cup glass measuring cup and add the butter.
  • Now microwave on High for four minutes, until butter melts and milk is warm.
  • Then you will rapidly, stir in the eggs with a whisk and combine well.
  • Now pour over bread.
  • Then you microwave on Medium-High for approx. 9 to 12 minutes.
  • When cooked, the center may still be slightly soft, but does set up as pudding cools.
  • Now you can serve warm or chilled; your preference
