Ingredients

Various chicken pieces (drumsticks, breasts, etc.)

½ cup salt

¼ cup black pepper

¼ cup Accent Flavoring

¼ teaspoon garlic salt

¼ teaspoon tumeric

¼ teaspoon ground sage

¾ teaspoon curry powder

¾ teaspoon onion salt

¾ teaspoon dry mustard

¼ teaspoon ground cloves

4 cups flour

2 eggs

2 cups of water

Directions

Mix all ingredients together.

Place chicken pieces in an egg mixture of 2 beaten eggs in 2 cups of water (Not milk!). Then coat each piece in the flour mixture (Placing chicken on a plate - DO NOT DIP CHICKEN IN FLOUR MIXTURE BOWL!), firmly pat the flour mixture onto the chicken.)

In a skillet, deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Then place on cookie sheet.

Finish off the chicken in a 300° F oven about 1 hour.

[NOTE: Not cooking a lot of chicken? Save the remaining flour mixture in a tubberware until ready to use next time and cut the egg mixture in half.]

[ALSO: Do not try to double batter with this recipe! The spices are then WAY TOO OVERWHELMING and you'll find yourself peeling off the crusty layer. One layer is all you need!]
