Ingredients
  • Ingredients:
  • for the cake-
  • 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  • 1 11 oz. can of mandarin oranges w/juice
  • 3/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • for the frosting-
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple slightly drained
  • 1 9 oz container of Cool Whip
  • 1 3 oz package of instant vanilla pudding mix

Directions
  1. Preparation:
  2. Combine the cake mix, eggs, oil and oranges with juice. Mix
  3. well.
  4. Pour even amounts in three 9" greased and floured cake pans.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cool completely before
  6. frosting.
  7. Combine the pineapple and the vanilla pudding mix. Mix well.
  8. Fold in the Cool Whip. This makes enough frosting to frost all
  9. three layers and the full outside of the cake.
  10. This cake should be refrigerated and served cold. Refreshing on
  11. a hot summer day after a barbecue!
