This is my variation of a recipe I found some time ago.

Ingredients
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 box of confectioner sugar
  • 1 large cream cheese
  • 1 can pie filling of your choice
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Whipped Cream
  • Toasted chopped almonds
  • Maraschino Cherries

Directions
  1. Mix together 1 egg, 1 box of yellow cake mix, and 1 stick of butter and press into oblong baking dish that has been greased and floured with 1 box confectioner sugar- 1 large cream cheese- 2 eggs Blend with mixer til smooth.
  2. Pour over cake and bake at 350 degrees for 30 -35 min.
  3. Serve topped with your favorite pie filling, vanilla ice cream, a healthy dollop of whipped cream, a sprinkling of toasted chopped almonds and topped off with a maraschino cherry.
