Double Marinated Filet of Beef

- 1 - 1/4 lbs beef filet or tenderloin. shopping list
- marinade 1: shopping list
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce shopping list
- 1 Tbsp Hoi-sin sauce shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 tsp oil shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- marinade 2: shopping list
- 1/2 cup white wine vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 2 cups oil shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 clove garlic shopping list
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh parsley shopping list
- 2 Tbsp capers shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the ingredients for the first marinade. Put the filet or tenderloin in a plastic bag, pour the marinade into the bag and marinate for 3 hours. Turn the meat every one in a while.
- Preheat oven to 350˚F.
- Put the filet on a grill with an oven-proof plate underneath. Put the meat into the oven and cook for 40 minutes. Turn the meat once when cooking.
- Wrap the filet in aluminum foil and let it cool.
- Mix the ingredients for the second marinade.
- When the filet is cold, cut the filet into very thin slices. Put the slices in a bowl. Pour the marinade over the meat slices and put the bowl in the fridge. Keep the meat in the marinade for 2 to 4 hours. Mix every now and then.
- When serving, take the slices of meat out of the marinade. Do not wipe them.
