Double Marinated Filet Of Beef Recipe
Very tasty beef recipe. Please note that this must marinate for 3 hours first, then cook, then marinate again for 4 hours.

Ingredients
  • 1 - 1/4 lbs beef filet or tenderloin.
  • Marinade 1:
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Hoi-sin sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Marinade 2:
  • 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 Tbsp capers

Directions
  1. Mix the ingredients for the first marinade. Put the filet or tenderloin in a plastic bag, pour the marinade into the bag and marinate for 3 hours. Turn the meat every one in a while.
  2. Preheat oven to 350˚F.
  3. Put the filet on a grill with an oven-proof plate underneath. Put the meat into the oven and cook for 40 minutes. Turn the meat once when cooking.
  4. Wrap the filet in aluminum foil and let it cool.
  5. Mix the ingredients for the second marinade.
  6. When the filet is cold, cut the filet into very thin slices. Put the slices in a bowl. Pour the marinade over the meat slices and put the bowl in the fridge. Keep the meat in the marinade for 2 to 4 hours. Mix every now and then.
  7. When serving, take the slices of meat out of the marinade. Do not wipe them.
