How to make it

  • lightly oil a baking pan, that you mic and bake in
  • (glass, or corning, NOT metal)
  • slice potatoes and lay them down, salt and pepper and sprikle with dill.
  • Sprinkle with 2 T water, Cover with plastic wrap and mic for 5 min.
  • remove cover add zuchinni layer cover again and mic for 3 min.
  • remove plastic and sprinkle with chopped jalopeno & parm cheese
  • bake for 15 min
  • then add tomatoes and Italian cheese and bake another 3-5 min
  • until cheese is melted or bubbles

    very simple and nice,, i added a bit of panko with the cheese to make a bit of a crust over the gratin. thanks for the recipe:)

    I love the micro ides in the recipe takes so much of the time out of the au gratin!! I think i'm going to try this with my scalloped taters and see how they fair!! Thanks for the idea!
