Nutty Squares

These are decadent and so tasty. How can you go wrong with anything that has nuts, peanut butter and chocolate in it? Sign me up. Yummers.
Ingredients
- Nutty Squares shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar packed shopping list
- 1 cup corn syrup shopping list
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter shopping list
- 4 cups crispy rice cereal shopping list
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 3 tablespoons smooth peanut butter shopping list
How to make it
- Combine brown sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter in a large saucepan.
- Heat and stir on medium until sugar is dissolved and mixture comes to a boil.
- Boil for 1 minute then remove from heat and add cereal and walnuts.
- Mix well then press into greased foil lined rectangular pan.
- Heat chocolate and peanut butter in saucepan on lowest heat stirring often until smooth. Remove from heat then spread evenly over cereal mixture.
- Cool and cut into squares.
