Banana Cake With Sour Cream Frosting

- 2/3 cup shortening shopping list
- 1-1/3 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 large ripe bananas mashed shopping list
- 2-1/2 cups cake flour shopping list
- 1-1/4 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1-1/4 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1 cup buttermilk shopping list
- Frosting: shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 3 cups icing sugar shopping list
- 4 tablespoons sour cream shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cocoa shopping list
How to make it
- Beat shortening and sugar together then beat in eggs until thoroughly blended.
- Beat in bananas.
- Mix dry ingredients together and add alternately in thirds with buttermilk.
- Butter and flour rectangular pan then pour batter in and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
- For frosting beat all ingredients together until spreadable.
