Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus Recipe

  • 12 spears fresh asparagus, ends trimmed
  • 1/2 pound prosciutto, cut into slices
  • 1/2 (8 oz) package softened Neufchatel cheese

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Spread the slices of prosciutto with the Neufchatel cheese. Wrap the slices around 2-3 asparagus spears and place them in a single layer on a medium sized baking sheet.
  3. Bake 15 minutes or until asparagus is tender.

Ooops, I didn't get to finish my comment, sorry about that. I served this at a bridal shower and it was very popular. Gotta love it! Great minds think alike cause I see we have very similar taste and I have been admiring your recipes for a few weeks now.


Dariana, your recipe is in fact quite different than this.Yours involves provalone and is served cold. This is a classic app, handy for tapas parties. So don't be so quick to be snotty about a repost while at the same time implying yours is better. Even a picture! Harumph.


This looks wonderful. I have had something similar but the prosciutto with the Neufchatel sounds better than what I had. I am keeping this one!
