Vergos Rendezvous Restaurant Dry Ribs

- Rendezvous World Famous Rub®: shopping list
- 1/2 cup salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup pepper shopping list
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tablespoon oregano shopping list
- 1 tablespoon celery seed shopping list
- 1 tablespoon paprika shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chili powder shopping list
- Ribs: shopping list
- 4 cups white distilled vinegar shopping list
- 4 cups water shopping list
- 1/3 cup Rendezvous World famous rub shopping list
- 2 slabs pork loin back ribs= 4 pounds shopping list
How to make it
- Mix vinegar, water and 1/3 cup of seasoning. This is the basting sauce.
- Cook meat over direct heat on grill, approximately 18-inches above the fire.
- Coals should be 325° to 350°.
- Start ribs bone side down,until bone side is golden brown. Baste 2 times with basting sauce.
- Then, flip the slabs and cook meat side down until golden brown.
- The meat is ready when it is so hot that you can't touch it with your fingers. Takes about 30 minutes per side.
- Baste again and sprinkle with Rendezvous World Famous Seasoning®.
