These are heavenly little chocolate beauties. So delicious and great for any special occassion.

Ingredients
  • Puffs:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 eggs
  • Filling:
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup strawberry jam
  • 2-8 ounce packages cream cheese
  • 1-8 ounce carton frozen whipped topping
  • whole fresh strawberries for garnish
  • powdered sugar for garnish

Directions
  1. Grease a baking sheet and pre-heat the oven to 400°.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter in the boiling water.
  3. Add flour,cocoa, sugar and salt while stirring vigorously. (Burns calories :)
  4. Cook until the mixture forms a ball that won't separate.
  5. Remove from heat and cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition until smooth.
  7. Drop abou 1/4 cup of batter for eac puff on a greased baking sheet.
  8. Spread the puffs about 3 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler.
  11. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and jam until smoot.
  12. Beat in melted chocoate.
  13. Then, stir in whipped topping.
  14. When the puffs have been removed from the oven, allow them to cool for a few minutes.
  15. Split them in half. If there is any "soft dough" inside, remove it.
  16. Cool completely.
  17. Fill with cream cheese mixture and garnish with fresh strawberries and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
