grilled mussels

- 24 green lip mussels shopping list
- 100g butter shopping list
- 3 cloves of garlic shopping list
- 100g pamesan cheese shopping list
- enough water to cover shopping list
- white wine,chardonay shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped bacon shopping list
How to make it
- cream the butter and grushed garlic ,add the chopped bacon and put aside
- remove the beards from the mussels and scrub and put into a pot
- cover with enough water to cover mussels and bring to a boil
- once mussels start to open but not fully remove pot from stove, discard any that havnt opened
- shell the mussels and put mussel meat in one halve and lay out on an oven tray
- spoon 1/2 teaspoon of wine into each mussel and a nob of garlic/bacon butter into each top all with an even amount of pamesan cheese, about1/2 tablespoon on each
- grill under a hot grill until butter as melted and the cheese has melted and turned a very light brown colour
- serve immediately while hot
