Kims Awesome Tater Soup

This is a favorite soup of several friends - thought i would share it here too . pretty fool-proof and SO goooood !
Ingredients
- 7 potatoes shopping list
- 3/4 cup onions shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, or reg salt shopping list
- 4 1/2 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon basil shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 4 cups milk shopping list
- 10 or so slices bacon shopping list
- 8 ozs Velveeta cheese, cubed shopping list
How to make it
- Saute butter and onions
- stir in flour and spices,
- add broth, cheese, potatos, add milk,
- simmer, add bacon at the end

great tasty recipe love it will have to cut down bacon to 2 slices probably fry first as due to health cant eat that much bacon still wonderful recipe high6

This is real close to how I make mine... chicken broth is a must! I don't use basil, but lots of fresh parsley... I am so wanting cold weather..
