Cold Cherry Soup

- 2-14 ounce cans of sour cherries; no pits, but keep juice shopping list
- 2 cinnamon sticks shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup red wine shopping list
- 1 cup cream or milk shopping list
- 2 tablespoons flour shopping list
How to make it
- In a saucepan, combine the cherries, their juices, the cinnamon sticks, sugar and the wine.
- Heat, but do not boil.
- In a bowl, combine the flour and milk, stirring well.
- Strain into the hot cherries.
- Cook until thickened.
- Chill before serving.
