Bread Pudding With Bourbon Sauce

- 1 pound French style bread the firmer the better shopping list
- 3-1/4 cups milk shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 cup pecans shopping list
- 1/4 cup raisins shopping list
- bourbon Sauce: shopping list
- 1 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 6 tablespoons butter melted shopping list
- 1/2 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 2 tablespoons bourbon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 tablespoon white corn syrup shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Tear bread into medium pieces then add sugar and cinnamon. Mix milk, lightly beaten eggs and vanilla then add to bread mix. Place 1/2 mix in casserole. Layer pecans and raisins then top with remaining mix and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve warm with sauce. To make sauce mix all ingredients together in a saucepan and bring to a boil for 1 minute.
