Cold Oven Pound Cake Recipe

How to make it

  • Cream butter, crisco, and sugar.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  • Add 1 cup of flour and 1/2 cup milk, beat slightly.
  • Then add 1/2 cup milk, last 2 cups of flour, baking powder and flavorings.
  • Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
  • Put in cold oven and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325^F.
