My Favorite Summer Salsa

- 3 ears of corn shopping list
- 3 ripe tomatoes (brandywine toms if available) shopping list
- 1/4 c. chopped cilantro shopping list
- 2 chopped shallots shopping list
- 2 limes shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Husk and clean corn if not done so already. Wish a sharp knife and flat surface cut out the kernels of corn (in a shaving motion against corn).
- slice tomatoes in half and squeeze out seeds and juice on the corn and dice the tomato.
- add cilantro and shallots, and squeeze the juice of the limes together with the almost finished salsa.
- add sal and pepper to taste
- serve with chips or on grilled chicken and steak.
