Butterscotch Toffee Blondies Recipe
When you need a good sweet kick this is the dessert for you! Smells wonderful baking away.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c butter, melted
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 c flour (all purpose)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c Skor bits or english brickle pieces
  • 1/2 c chopped walnuts
  • Icing:
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 c icing sugar

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Melt butter
  3. Add sugar stir well
  4. Add egg and vanilla
  5. Stir to combine.
  6. In another bowl combine dry ingredients
  7. Add to sugar mixture
  8. Stir to combine
  9. Add toffee bits and nuts
  10. Spread into a greased 8x8 baking pan
  11. Bake for 30 minutes
  12. Remove from oven and let completely cool
  13. For Icing:
  14. Melt butter
  15. Stir in brown sugar and milk
  16. Stir in icing sugar until spreadable
  17. Frost blondies

Oh, this one is working for me! But it's bed for me now, so I guess we'll call it "Sweet Dreams" for now :) :)
