Loaded Biscuits

- 2 cups unbleached flour shopping list
- 2 tbsp granulated sugr shopping list
- 4 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups grated strong cheddar cheese (imperial is good) shopping list
- 3 tbsp finely chopped green onion shopping list
- 2 tbsp finely chopped green pepper shopping list
- 1/3 cup cooking oil shopping list
- 3/4 cup cold milk shopping list
How to make it
- Measure flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into mixing bowl. Stir well. Add cheese, onion and green pepper. Stir lightly to mix.
- Add cooking oil and milk. Stir to mix into a soft ball. Turn out onto lightly floured surface. Knead 8 to 10 times. Roll out pat to 3/4 inch thickness. Cut with 2 1/4 inch round floured cookie cutter. Arrange on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 425 degrees F oven for about 15 minutes until browned.

These are really good. I was in a rush and didn't have time to do the kneading process, so instead I just used my cupcake pan, gave each cup a quick shot of spray oil and divided the dough between the twelve cups. They baked up nicely. Just be car...more
