Ingredients
  • 2 c. hulled, raw sesame seeds

Directions
  1. Place the seeds in a heavy, dry skillet over high heat.
  2. Stir constantly until the seeds turn golden-beige and start to pop.
  3. Remove them from the heat, and pour them into a blender.
  4. Blend at high speed, stopping to stir from the bottom a few times, until the seeds are the consistency of a fine meal, but not a paste.
  5. Keep in a covered container in the freezer.

Use it in place of tahini, sprinkle ove cereal or add to cakes or pie crusts. basically endless!
