Nutaroons

NOT your momma's macaroons, actually a nibble saved from the B&B team in Toronto. A different twist and quite easy to make, good afternoonn snack with milk.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of soft butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup of sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract shopping list
- 1 cup of finely chopped salted peanuts shopping list
- 5 cups of corn flakes shopping list
How to make it
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and almond flavoring, beat well. Stir in peanuts and cornflakes until thoroughly combined.
- Drop by leve teablespoons onto well greased baking sheets.
- Misture is somewhat dry in appearance behfore baking.
- Resist the urge to add extra liquid.
- Bake in moderate oven 350 degrees about 12 minutes per pan.
- When you remove the baking sheet from oven, place on hot wet towel. (it helps the cookies release) Immediately remove cookies and cool on a wire rack. (four dozen cookies about)
