How to make it

  • In a bowl, mix soften margarine and sugar.
  • Beat in buttermilk, eggs, lemon juice and vanilla.
  • In another bowl, combine flour and baking soda.
  • Add to creamed mixture.
  • Coat a 13x9x2-inch paking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Pour batter into pan.
  • Use a knife to "divide" batter into 24 rectangles.
  • Spoon a small amount of cherry pie filling onto center of each rectangle.
  • Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes.
