- 2 cups cornmeal shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- corn Shucks (soak in boiling water for 10 min. before use) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix dry ingredients to combine, add boiling water mixing until dough is stiff and easy to handle.
- Form oblong ball and place in corn shucks.
- To wrap: strip a few shucks to make strings. Tie 2 strips together at ends.
- Fold carefully and tie in the middle with strings.
- Place in large stew pot and boil 30 to 45 minutes.
