Crunchy Paprika Chickpeas Recipe
I'm not much of a snacker. But once in a while, a good old black and white movie night with friends and some munchies and it's great.

Ingredients
  • 2 (15 1/2 ounce) cans chickpeas, drained, rinsed and patted dry.
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon sweet, hot or smoked paprika

Directions
  1. Toss chickpeas with oil.
  2. Arrange in single layer on rimmed baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 450 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes, tossing occasionally.
  4. Remove from oven.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and paprika.
  6. Return to oven 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Cool on paper towels.
  8. Will keep at room temperature for up to 2 days.

Oh, these sound wonderful. Something I would like much better than popcorn. Great post.


This sounds like a super alternative to popcorn, I'm definitely going to try this.
