This is a 9" square cake which can use the streusel filling with nuts and raisins, chocolate chips, blueberries, etc. It is fun to come up with new variations and is quick and easy to make and freezes well, too.

Not rude - asking a question. Coffee cake is often referred to as ones served with a cup of coffee where we come from. The "basic" reference is because the batter is lovely adn you can doctor up and personalize this recipe with what you include. I use chocolate chips, nuts, berries, etc. at different bakings and according to what's in my house and who's going to eat it. The cake seems to please us all in its variations and is hence fun to play with.

I make the Bisquick Coffee Cake a lot; so much that I know the recipe by heart. This one seems a lot like it, just without the nuts or coconut. I've never thought about using ingredients like that. Sounds like a crowd pleaser!

This recipe is delicious! Thanks for sharing.
I ended up cooking it at 375 F for 30-35 minutes.
