How to make it

  • In a bowl, mix then sift flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
  • Stir in nuts.
  • In another bowl, beat eggs slightly.
  • Add oil, extract, bananas,and undrained pineapples.
  • Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughtly, BUT DO NOT BEAT!
  • Spoon into a well-oiled 10-inch tube pan.
  • Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20-25 mnutes.
  • Remove from oven.
  • Let stand 10-15 minutes.
  • Invert cake on wire rack and remove pan.
  • Cool thoroughly before frosting.
  • Use cream cheese frosting and frost cake.
