BOILED RAISIN COOKIES

- 2 cups raisins covered with 2 cups water; cook until 1 cup juice remains shopping list
- 1 ½ cup sugar shopping list
- 1 ½ cup lard or Crisco shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 3 ½ cups flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
How to make it
- Mix sugar and shortening and cream it. Add eggs then vanilla. Add juice and stir. Mix flour, soda, cinnamon and salt, stir in mixture. Add raisins. Drop by teaspoon. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes.
