How to make it

  • Fry bacon until crisp.
  • Add onion, celery and carrots. Saute until tender. Drain fat and then let cool.
  • Mix the crackers with the crab and the seasonings. Add the bacon mixture.
  • Stuff this mixture into the cavity of the salmon and close with string or toothpicks.
  • Pour water into greased baking pan; add salmon and bake for about 45 mnutes.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes and cream cheese.
