Richie Estate New York Grilled Strip Steaks Recipe
My husband's favorite food in the world is steak and potatoes so everytime I come across a steak recipe I try ane make it for him. Many have been very bad, many very good, this one is VERY good. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 ounce Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon purple shallots minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons minced parsley

Directions
  1. Stir together butter, shallots, garlic and parsley.
  2. Season butter mixture with salt and pepper then scrape onto a piece of wax pepper.
  3. Roll into a small cylinder and chill for 1 hour.
  4. Put oil and steak spice in a shallow pan then dip steaks well on both sides to coat.
  5. Prepare an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  6. When fire is hot grill steaks over high heat to desired doneness turning twice.
  7. Remove to a platter and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Unwrap chilled butter and slice into rounds.
  9. Lay 2 rounds on each warm steak and serve immediately.
