Shrimp Casserole

- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter shopping list
- 1 pound medium cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined shopping list
- 6 stalks celery, diagonally sliced shopping list
- 3/4 cup sweet onion, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped (I have also used half red pepper and half green pepper) shopping list
- 4 hard cooked eggs, chopped shopping list
- 1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise shopping list
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted shopping list
- 1/2 cup slivered or sliced almonds shopping list
How to make it
- Saute mushrooms in 1 tablespoon butter until softened.
- Drain and set aside.
- In large bowl, combine mushrooms, shrimp, celery, onion, green pepper, eggs, water chestnuts, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce and salt.
- Transfer to greased 13x9 inch baking pan.
- In small bowl, combine Panko breadcrumbs and melted butter.
- Sprinkle over.
- Sprinkle with almonds.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until heated through.
