Beets Rummy

- 1 can sliced beets, drain and save liquid shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch shopping list
- ¼ teaspoon salt shopping list
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 1 ounce rum shopping list
- ¼ cup sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Bring saved beet liquid to a boil.
- Add cornstarch, salt, vinegar, and sugar.
- Simmer until thickened and bubbles.
- Add sliced beets and rum to sauce.
- Heat five minutes.

All I know is that a little rum has got to help beets taste better. My husband has decided to plant 2 rows of them and I have no idea how to prepare them or what to serve them with. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)
