Chinese Tuna Casserole Recipe
Creamy tuna casserole that tastes almost like chicken. Great for buffets and covered dishes.

Ingredients
  • 2 cans tuna
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 1 can drained bean sprouts or chinese vegetables
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 can chow mein noodles
  • slivered almonds (optional)

Directions
  1. Drain tuna well & flake.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a casserole, leaving out half of the chow mein noodles.
  3. Sprinkle remaining chow mein noodles on top of casserole.
  4. Bake in a moderate oven (325º - 350º) approximately 1 hour.

What is Chinese about this? Why is everything canned? Couldn't you find canned onions? Don't you like food?


Why not save time and throw all the ingredients down the toilet whilst making loud retching sounds?


I love the idea of canned chow mein noodles. "Chow mein" means "fried noodles". So we have fried noodle noodles in a can?

And... an hour in the oven? To heat up some cans?
