Icey Almonds Recipe
These are fun to make on a cold afternoon and snack on - also great for card night! Many times most of these don't have time to cool completely - we snoop them warm off the paper!

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 2 1/2 cups whole unblanched almonds
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions
  1. Melt butter in sauce pan.
  2. Add almonds and sugar.
  3. Cook, stirring occasionally until syrup is a golden brown.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in vanilla.
  6. Drop by clusters onto waxed paper or a greased baking pan.
  7. Cool
