Cognac Vanilla

- 1 vanilla bean-cut in half lengthwise and then crosswise in pieces shopping list
- 2 1/2 oz cognac shopping list
How to make it
- Place vanilla bean pieces in a bottle with an airtight lid. Cover with the Cognac. Close tightly and store at room temperature. Shake the bottle every few days. Take 2-3 weeks to reach full flavor. Strain and put in another bottle. This is “REAL” extract and will never smell like the grocery store "imitation" vanilla.
- The vanilla bean pieces can be used 2-3 times.
