Dr Pepper Bean Dip Recipe
Not your ordinary bean dip! Serve with chips or crackers. This dip also tastes good over a baked potato.

Ingredients
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tespoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Dr. PepperĀ®
  • 1 4 ounce can chopped green chilies
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2-4 slices bacon, cooked crisp, drained and crumbled

Directions
  1. In a saucepan, combine beans, tomato paste, oil, salt, pepper, garlic, Dr. Pepper, chilies and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Heat to a boil.
  3. Pour into a blender and add cheese.
  4. Blend on high speed until well mixed.
  5. Pour into a warmer dish.
  6. Sprinkle with bacon crumbles and serve with chips or crackers.
