Dr Pepper Bean Dip Recipe

Not your ordinary bean dip! Serve with chips or crackers. This dip also tastes good over a baked potato.

Ingredients
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tespoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Dr. Pepper®
- 1 4 ounce can chopped green chilies
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2-4 slices bacon, cooked crisp, drained and crumbled
Directions
- In a saucepan, combine beans, tomato paste, oil, salt, pepper, garlic, Dr. Pepper, chilies and Worcestershire sauce.
- Heat to a boil.
- Pour into a blender and add cheese.
- Blend on high speed until well mixed.
- Pour into a warmer dish.
- Sprinkle with bacon crumbles and serve with chips or crackers.
