Oven Baked Pumpkin Seeds Recipe
Old recipe My Mother gave me. After we carved our pumpkins , we'd help Mom make these. You can easily adjust this recipe according to the amount of pumpkin seeds you want to make.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups pumpkin seeds ( clean off the pumpkin stuck on the seeds with your fingers - do not wash off)
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 11/2 tbsp butter melted
  • 11/2 tsp salt

Directions
  1. preheat oven - 250`
  2. mix all of the ingrtdients together and place on a shallow baking pan
  3. bake for 21/2 - 3 hours stir often while they're baking
  4. let cool before you enjoy them

OK. I try this every year when we carve our pumpkins. They never would come out right. First of all I would wash them off and second I don't think I had the temp or time right. Third I never used butter.

Thank you!!! I have been trying to make pumpkin seeds for years and they never turned out! I almost threw out the seeds after the kids were done carving tonight, but decided to come here and find a recipe. I'm so glad I found this one because they are awesome!
