How to make it

  • CRUST
  • Grease a 9x13 pan.
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Measure out 1/2 cup cake mix and set aside.
  • Combine remaining cake mix with margarine and egg.
  • Beat on low speed for 1 minute or until a soft dough is formed.
  • Pat evenly over bottom and 1 inch up sides of pan.
  • FILLING
  • Beat cream cheese, condensed milk and melted chocolate just to blend.
  • Add eggs one at a time beating lightly after each.
  • Add sour cream and reserved cake mix.
  • Beat on medium speed for 1 minute.
  • Stir in 1 cup of toffee bits.
  • Spread evenly on crust.
  • Sprinkle remaining bits over top.
  • Bake 45-50 minutes or just until set.
  • Run knife along the edge of pan to loosen.
  • Cool completely.
  • Refrigerate overnight and store in fridge.
