Ingredients

How to make it

  • combine 2 teaspoons soy sauce, 2 teaspoons sherry, 2 teaspoons cornstarch and the salt in a large bowl mixing well
  • add the chicken stir to coat well
  • let stand for 30 minutes
  • combine the remaining soy sauce,sherry, vinegar, chicken broth, sugar and the remaining cornstarch in a small bowl mixing well
  • set aside
  • heat 1 table spoon oil in wok or large skillet ove medium heat
  • add peanuts and cook until golden
  • remove from pan and set aside
  • heat reamining oil over medium heat
  • add chili peppers and stir fry 1 minute
  • increase heat to high
  • add chicken mixture
  • stir fry 2 minutes
  • add ginger and stir fry another 2 minutes until chicken is cooked through
  • add onions and peanuts
  • stir cornstarch mixture and add to wok
  • cook stirring constantly until the sauce boils and thickens
  • serve while still hot
