How to make it

  • Place the peach slices in a bowl, covering them until ready
  • Boil the remaining ingredients together, mixing, and pour over the peaches while still boiling
  • Cover and let sit for 2 hours
  • Serve on a serving dish with the wine sauce

    This is REALLY tasty -- folks who come here for dinner in my low-tech, 100-year-old farmhouse kitchen always expect unusual, creative, "cook-with-what's in the frig", and memorable food. This one really fit the bill. Just ask Grandma ;O)
