Peaches in Wine

- 4 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced shopping list
- 5 oz red wine shopping list
- 2 Tbsp powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon zest shopping list
How to make it
- Place the peach slices in a bowl, covering them until ready
- Boil the remaining ingredients together, mixing, and pour over the peaches while still boiling
- Cover and let sit for 2 hours
- Serve on a serving dish with the wine sauce

This is REALLY tasty -- folks who come here for dinner in my low-tech, 100-year-old farmhouse kitchen always expect unusual, creative, "cook-with-what's in the frig", and memorable food. This one really fit the bill. Just ask Grandma ;O)
