Almond Macaroni Custard

This is a delightfully rich and creamy custard with a nice almond flavor
Ingredients
- for the custard shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup of milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter softened do not use margarine shopping list
- 1/2 cup elbow macaroni cooked and drained shopping list
- topping mix shopping list
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds shopping list
- 1/3 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter softened shopping list
- 1 tablespoon milk shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 350 degrees
- for the custard combine all custard ingredients except macaroni in a blender
- blend for 2 minutes
- pour into a large bowl and fold in the macaroni
- grease and flour an 8 inche square baking pan
- pour custard into prepared baking pan
- bake 40 to 45 minutes until set
- combine topping ingredients in a small bowl
- spread over cooked custard
- broil 2 or 3 minutes until topping is bubbly and golden brown
- cover and refrigerate left overs

Yummy, No improvement needed!!>>I have to question 9 serves, the last time I looked it would only serve 3! I didn't give it time to cool before I was into it.. Cheers.
