Potato and Goat Cheese Casserole

- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter shopping list
- 1-1/2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled, cut into 1/8 in. slices shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced shopping list
- 5 oz. goat cheese, crumbled shopping list
- salt, black pepper shopping list
- 2 cups heavy cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease bottom and sides of 1-1/2 qt. dish with butter.
- Layer overlapping potato slices on bottom of dish.
- Sprinkle with half of garlic and 1/3 of goat cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Repeat layers.
- Finish with final layer of potatoes and remaining cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour heavy cream over top of potatoes and press to condense layers slightly. Make sure layers are completely covered with cream.
- Baker for 1 hour and 20 minutes, ur until bubbl and brown on top, and potatoes are cooked through.
- Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
