Delicious Pear Red Grape Chutney Easy Recipe
Chutneys add such a spark of vitality to the table. This one is simple and delicious, especially on pork and chicken. You can be creative and adjust it to your special tastes.

Ingredients
  • 3 medium firm, ripe pears
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup halved red seedless grapes
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 tablespoon mustard seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

Directions
  1. Peel, core and cut pears into 1/2-inch pieces; toss with lemon juice
  2. Add grapes, honey and Dijon mustard, tossing to mix
  3. Set aside
  4. In small skillet, cook onion in hot olive oil about 5 minutes, or until tender
  5. Add raisins, mustard seed and allspice
  6. Stir about 5 minutes to plump raisins
  7. Add raisin mixture to pear mixture
  8. Stir well to mix
  9. NOTE: could add minced jalapeno peppers to taste
