Gotta Leek

- 2 lbs. leeks shopping list
- 2 1/2 T. butter shopping list
- 2 T. all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 c. milk shopping list
- 1 T. vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
How to make it
- Cut any roots and wilted outer leaves off leeks
- Cut into 2 inch lengths
- Cover with water
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes
- Drain well
- Melt butter and stir in flour
- Gradually stir in the milk
- Cover over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth
- Add vinegar and salt
- Simmer another 10 minutes
- Serve up hot and enjoy
