How to make it

  • Preheat oven to250
  • Bring corn syrup, butter, water, and salt to boil
  • Add pecans and stir a few minutes
  • Spread on well greased cookie sheet
  • Bake for an hour and stir every ten minutes.
  • Slice apples thin and length wise.
  • Hint: when sliced place them in a bowl with cold water and cyder vinegar, this will prevent them from browning.
  • On individual plates place a nice big leaf of the bib lettuce. Then place the salad mixed with dressing on top. Place the thinly slice apple in a radial circle and sprinkle your roased pecans and blue cheese.
