German Chocolate Bars

- 2/3 cup butter or margarine, softened shopping list
- 1 package supermoist German chocolate cakemix shopping list
- 1 package (6 oz ) semisweet chocolate chips (1 cup) shopping list
- 1 tub Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy coconut pecan ready-to-spread frosting shopping list
- 1/4 cup milk shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.F
- Lightly grease bottom and sides of a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
- Cut butter or margarine into cake mix in medium bowl, using pastry blender or fork, until mixture looks like fine crumbs. Press half of the mixture (2 1/2 cups) in bottom of pan.
- Bake 10 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked layer. Drop frosting by tablespoonfuls over chocolate chips.
- Stir milk into remaining cake mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto frosting layer.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until cake portion is slightly dry to touch; cool completely.
- Refrigerate until firm.(about 2 hours)Cut into 24, 2 x 1 inch bars.
