I haven't tried this but it sounds good and really easy.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • Any flavor pie filling, lemon, blueberry, cherry, raisin etc.
  • Icing sugar

Directions
  1. Blend margarine and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and flavoring.
  3. Add flour and baking powder 1 cup at a time.
  4. Spread 2/3 of the batter onto a greased cookie sheet.
  5. Spread pie filling over the base.
  6. Drop remaining batter by spoonfuls over pie filling.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
  8. Let cool and sift icing sugar over top.

This sounds good. My Family has left me in charge of the making of the sweets this year for Turkey day and Christmas. They are going to be shocked from all the great recipes that I have found on this site and little bit more belly weight but its all so good. Thanks Sue
