This is an old recipe I kind of twisted a little it was inspire by an old chuck wagon recipe I found. I make this up at the ranch for breakfast.

Ingredients
- Drain canned hominy; reserve liquid.
- Toast hominy in butter in frying pan.
- Mash, mix in liquid. Mix with equal amount of prepared pancake mix.
- Some cinnamon (to taste)
- Touch of vanilla (gives it a little sweet flavor)
Directions
- Cook on oiled griddle; serve with apple butter or homemade chokecherry syrup.
- Also add some sage sausage and an egg if really hungry.
