Cowboy Ranch Bread

This is an old recipe I kind of twisted a little it was inspire by an old chuck wagon recipe I found. I make this up at the ranch for breakfast.
Ingredients
- Drain canned hominy; reserve liquid. shopping list
- toast hominy in butter in frying pan. shopping list
- Mash, mix in liquid. Mix with equal amount of prepared pancake mix. shopping list
- Some cinnamon (to taste) shopping list
- Touch of vanilla (gives it a little sweet flavor) shopping list
How to make it
- Cook on oiled griddle; serve with apple butter or homemade chokecherry syrup.
- Also add some sage sausage and an egg if really hungry.
